Websites for bathroom fitters that sell the finish.

Nobody wants to live with a badly fitted bathroom for ten years, so people compare a few fitters before they book a survey. I’ll build you a site that shows your finished bathrooms, explains walk-in showers and wet rooms plainly, and makes booking a survey easy. You only pay when you’re happy with it.

Why a website?

People want to see bathrooms like theirs, finished, before they let you rip theirs out.

Most bathroom work still comes from recommendations, and that’s no bad thing. But a new bathroom costs thousands and means a week without one, so before anyone books a survey they’ll look you up and compare a few fitters.

Three reasons it’s worth having one

  1. Let your before-and-afters do the selling

A dated bathroom next to the finished one shows your work better than anything you could write. On your own site they sit together, labelled by job and town.

  2. Answer the worries before they ring

How long they’ll be without a toilet, what tanking is and who does the electrics. Answering it up front makes you the fitter who looks easiest to have in the house.

  3. Lead with the jobs you want more of

Full refits, walk-in showers or wet rooms up front, so you’re booked for whole bathrooms, not just swapping a tap.

What I’d build for you

Everything a homeowner checks before booking a survey

Built around the bathrooms you want more of, with your finished work front and centre. The screenshots are from Fernvale Bathrooms, an example design I’ve built for a bathroom fitter.

  1. They ask “Do you do bathrooms like mine?”

Service pages that bring in the full refits

“Bathroom fitter” covers everything from a new tap to a full wet room. People want to know straight away whether you do full refits, walk-in showers, fit-only or all three.

    What you get

    • Full refits, walk-in showers, wet rooms and fit-only explained plainly, with what’s included
    • Guide prices, so people know roughly what to budget before they ring
    • On Trade and Pro, a separate page for each service, like walk-in showers or accessible bathrooms
    • Smaller jobs, like cloakrooms and re-tiling, still listed

Jobs your site could lead with

    • Full bathroom refits
    • Walk-in showers
    • Ensuites and cloakrooms
    • Wet rooms
    • Accessible bathrooms
    • Fit-only installs

Each service with what’s included and a guide price, from the Fernvale Bathrooms example design
  2. They ask “Have you done a bathroom like mine?”

Before-and-afters that win you the next one

A finished bathroom photo is good. The same room before and after is better, because it shows people what you could do with the bathroom they’ve got now.

    What you get

    • A before-and-after slider people can drag to compare
    • The brief, the spec, the budget and a day-by-day timeline for featured jobs
    • A gallery labelled by type and town, with photos that open up larger
    • Your phone photos cropped, colour-corrected and compressed so they look sharp and load fast
The before and after section of the Fernvale Bathrooms example design: a slider comparing a dated tiled bathroom with the finished room, beside the spec, budget and a day-by-day timeline
A before-and-after with the spec and timeline, from the Fernvale Bathrooms example design
  3. They ask “Will I be left without a toilet?”

A reputation that wins the quote before you’ve visited

A refit means strangers in the house and the one room you can’t do without ripped out. Reviews that mention tidy fitters, a working toilet at night and finishing on time make people comfortable booking you.

    What you get

    • Genuine Google reviews, shown near your bathrooms
    • Your guarantee, insurance and any trade memberships, where you hold them
    • How you work: a fixed quote, dust sheets, water back on each night and a final clean
    • Only real reviews and credentials, nothing made up
The reviews section of the Fernvale Bathrooms example design: three reviews about a working toilet each night, a level-access shower and a fit-only job
Reviews about what matters on a bathroom job, from the Fernvale Bathrooms example design
  4. They ask “Do you cover my area?”

Found by homeowners searching in your area

People search for the job and the town, like “bathroom fitter Wakefield” or “walk-in shower installer Leeds”. Your site has to say clearly what you do and where before Google can match you to those searches.

    What you get

    • The towns you cover, listed on the pages that matter
    • Page titles, headings and descriptions that name your bathroom fitting work and your area
    • Your business details set up so search engines can read them, linked to your Google Business Profile if you have one
    • On Pro, pages for the main towns you cover. Good foundations, but nobody can honestly promise a ranking
The areas section of the Fernvale Bathrooms example design: Wakefield, Ossett, Rothwell, Morley, Pontefract and Castleford
The towns covered, listed clearly, from the Fernvale Bathrooms example design
  5. They ask “Can you come and have a look?”

More surveys booked, with less back and forth

Bathroom enquiries need a few details before a visit is worth it. A form that asks the right questions, and a WhatsApp button for photos of the room, gets the serious ones booked in.

    What you get

    • Tap-to-call and WhatsApp buttons, plus a bar that stays at the bottom of the screen on phones
    • A short enquiry form that comes straight to you, with spam protection built in
    • Fields that ask what they need, when they want it done and whether it’s their only bathroom, so you can reply properly
    • Built and tested on phones first, and quick to load on a weak signal

Who builds it

Built by someone who knows the trades

I’ve worked in general building for over eight years. I know what it’s like to be on site all day, then quote jobs, answer customers and keep the business going around the actual work, with most of it coming from recommendations.

I’m not a bathroom fitter, so the details come from you. My job is to put your bathrooms, prices and reviews up front and make booking a survey the easy next step. You deal with me throughout, not a sales team.

How it works

Three steps, live in as little as a week

You don’t need to become a web designer or a copywriter. A short call and some photos of your work, and I handle the writing, design and technical side.

  1. We talk it through

A short call about what you do, the bathrooms you want more of (full refits and wet rooms rather than tap swaps, say), the areas you cover and the brands you fit.

  2. I build your website

I write the copy around those jobs, pick your best before-and-after photos and build the site around them. You don’t have to write a word.

  3. You approve it. I launch it.

You check it and ask for any changes. Once you’ve approved it, you pay and it goes live.

If you don’t approve it, you don’t pay.

Move the sliders to your own numbers. This works out turnover, what customers pay you, not profit.

A Trade website is £495, paid once you’re happy with it. One or two jobs could cover it.

FAQ

Questions bathroom fitters ask

Keep it coming. A recommendation gets your name passed on, and your site is what backs it up when someone checks you out before letting you rip their bathroom out. It’s also the one place with no other bathroom fitters suggested next to you. Why word of mouth and a website work together.

No. I build your site first, you look it over and ask for any changes. You only pay once you’re happy with it. If it’s still not right for you, you walk away owing nothing.

No. Phone photos are fine, as long as the room is clean and the light is good. Take one from the doorway before you start and one from the same spot when you finish, and you’ve got a before-and-after. Send me what you’ve got and I’ll prepare them for the site. How to take better photos of your work.

Yes, and they’re the best thing a bathroom fitter can put on a website. I can set them side by side or as a slider people drag to compare, labelled with the job and the town.

Yes. I’ll build the site around your logo and colours. If you don’t have a logo, the site can use your business name in a clean, simple style.

I build it with local SEO foundations in place. The page title, headings and copy name the bathroom fitting work you do and the towns you cover, so search engines can match you to searches like “bathroom fitter Wakefield” or “walk-in shower installer Leeds”. That way Google knows what you do and where, and the page is quick to load on a phone. It gives you solid foundations, but no web designer can guarantee a particular position in Google. What else helps you show up locally.

Yes, and it usually helps. Ranges like “walk-in showers from £4,800” put off people with the wrong budget and reassure the right ones, so the surveys you book are worth your time.

Yes. Level-access showers and adapted bathrooms can have their own section, or their own page on Trade and Pro, written for families and carers. I only mention grants, assessments or accreditations you actually work with.

Yes. Your site can lead with full bathrooms and still make it clear you take on re-tiling, cloakrooms and smaller jobs, so you keep the work that fills the gaps.

No. We have a short call about your business and the work you want more of, you send me some photos, and I write and build the rest.

A one-page site is usually ready in about a week, a Trade site in about two weeks and a Pro site in two to three weeks. I’ll give you a date on our first call.

Yes. Send me photos of a new job, or the change you want, and I’ll update it for you. Content updates are £30 an hour, and most new-job updates are quick. New sections or design changes are quoted separately.

Yes, it’s yours once you’ve paid for it, with no lock-in. Hosting and support are included for the first 12 months. After that it’s £19 a month, rolling, so you can cancel anytime. If you do, I’ll send you the files and transfer your domain so you can host it wherever you like.
