Websites for tilers where the lines do the talking.

Customers judge a tiler on photos: straight lines, neat cuts and level floors. I’ll build you a site that shows your best work, explains the prep that makes it last and makes asking for a quote easy. You only pay when you’re happy with it.

Why a website?

People want to see your lines and your cuts before they let you near their bathroom.

Plenty of tiling work comes through kitchen fitters, bathroom fitters and builders, and that’s no bad thing. But homeowners booking a tiler direct will look you up and compare a few first.

Three reasons it’s worth having one

  1. Let the close-ups sell the job

A tiled room looks good in any photo. The close-ups of mitred edges, centred cuts and level floors are what show people you’re the careful one.

  2. Explain why the prep matters

Tanking, levelling and setting out are why your work lasts and someone else’s cracks. A site gives you room to explain it, so you’re not just compared on price per square metre.

  3. Win the bigger, better jobs

Wet rooms, large-format porcelain and patterned floors up front, so you’re booked for whole rooms, not just a few replacement tiles.

What I’d build for you

Everything a homeowner checks before booking a tiler

Built around the jobs you want more of, with your finished work front and centre. The screenshots are from Niddvale Tiling, an example design I’ve built for a tiler.

  1. They ask “Do you tile what I need?”

Service pages that bring in whole rooms

People search for the job, like a wet room, a splashback or a kitchen floor. They want to see straight away whether you do it and roughly what it costs.

    What you get

    • Bathrooms, wet rooms, splashbacks and floors explained plainly, with what’s included
    • Guide prices per job or per square metre, so people can budget before they ring
    • On Trade and Pro, a separate page for each service, like wet rooms or large-format porcelain
    • Smaller jobs, like re-grouting and repairs, still listed

Jobs your site could lead with

    • Bathrooms and showers
    • Wet rooms and tanking
    • Kitchen splashbacks
    • Floors and underfloor heating
    • Large-format porcelain
    • Patterned and herringbone floors
The services section of the Niddvale Tiling example design: bathrooms and showers, wet rooms and tanking, kitchen splashbacks, floors and large-format porcelain, each with a guide price
Each service with what’s included and a guide price, from the Niddvale Tiling example design
  2. They ask “Have you done anything like this?”

A gallery people can filter by room

Someone planning a splashback wants to see splashbacks, not twenty bathrooms. Letting people filter your work by room gets them to the jobs like theirs quickly.

    What you get

    • A gallery filtered by bathrooms, kitchens and floors, with photos that open up larger
    • Each job labelled with the type of work and the town
    • Close-ups of the detail next to the wide shots
    • Your phone photos cropped, colour-corrected and compressed so they look sharp and load fast
The work section of the Niddvale Tiling example design: filter buttons for bathrooms, kitchens and floors above a grid of tiled showers, splashbacks and floors
A gallery filtered by room, from the Niddvale Tiling example design
  3. They ask “Will it last?”

Reviews and prep that win the quote

Tiling gets judged years later, when the grout cracks or it doesn’t. Reviews that mention neat cuts and level floors, and a plain explanation of your prep, make people comfortable paying for it done properly.

    What you get

    • Genuine Google reviews, shown near your work
    • Your guarantee, insurance and any trade memberships, where you hold them
    • How you work: setting out, tanking and levelling explained plainly
    • Only real reviews and credentials, nothing made up
The reviews section of the Niddvale Tiling example design: three reviews about cut tiles behind the door, flat large-format floors and a herringbone splashback
Reviews about the details that matter, from the Niddvale Tiling example design
  4. They ask “Do you cover my area?”

Found by homeowners searching in your area

People search for the job and the town, like “tiler Harrogate” or “wet room tiling Leeds”. Your site has to say clearly what you do and where before Google can match you to those searches.

    What you get

    • The towns you cover, listed on the pages that matter
    • Page titles, headings and descriptions that name your tiling work and your area
    • Your business details set up so search engines can read them, linked to your Google Business Profile if you have one
    • On Pro, pages for the main towns you cover. Good foundations, but nobody can honestly promise a ranking
The areas section of the Niddvale Tiling example design: Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal, Wetherby, Ripon, Otley, Alwoodley and Roundhay with distances
The towns covered, listed clearly, from the Niddvale Tiling example design
  5. They ask “Can you give me a price?”

Quote requests with the details you need

Tiling is priced on size, tile and prep. A form that asks the room, the rough size and whether the tiles are bought, plus a WhatsApp button for photos, gets you an enquiry you can price first time.

    What you get

    • Tap-to-call and WhatsApp buttons, plus a bar that stays at the bottom of the screen on phones
    • A short enquiry form that comes straight to you, with spam protection built in
    • Fields that ask what needs tiling, the rough size and whether they’ve chosen their tiles, so you can reply properly
    • Built and tested on phones first, and quick to load on a weak signal

Who builds it

Built by someone who knows the trades

I’ve worked in general building for over eight years. I know what it’s like to be on site all day, then quote jobs, answer customers and keep the business going around the actual work, with most of it coming from recommendations.

I’m not a tiler, so the details come from you. My job is to put your best work, prices and reviews up front and make asking for a quote the easy next step. You deal with me throughout, not a sales team.

How it works

Three steps, live in as little as a week

You don’t need to become a web designer or a copywriter. A short call and some photos of your work, and I handle the writing, design and technical side.

  1. We talk it through

A short call about what you tile, the jobs you want more of (whole bathrooms and wet rooms rather than a few replacement tiles, say), your prices and the areas you cover.

  2. I build your website

I write the copy around those jobs, pick your best photos, close-ups included, and build the site around them. You don’t have to write a word.

  3. You approve it. I launch it.

You check it and ask for any changes. Once you’ve approved it, you pay and it goes live.

If you don’t approve it, you don’t pay.

What’s one extra job worth to you?

Move the sliders to your own numbers. This works out turnover, what customers pay you, not profit.

A Trade website is £495, paid once you’re happy with it. One or two jobs could cover it.

FAQ

Questions tilers ask

Keep it coming. A recommendation gets your name passed on, and your site is what backs it up when someone checks you out before letting you loose on their bathroom. It’s also the one place with no other tilers suggested next to you. Why word of mouth and a website work together.

No. I build your site first, you look it over and ask for any changes. You only pay once you’re happy with it. If it’s still not right for you, you walk away owing nothing.

No. Phone photos are fine, as long as the light is good and the room is clean. Take a wide shot and a close-up of the detail on every job. Send me what you’ve got and I’ll prepare them for the site. How to take better photos of your work.

Yes. The gallery can be filtered by bathrooms, kitchens and floors, with each job labelled with the type of work and the town, so people find jobs like theirs quickly.

Yes. I’ll build the site around your logo and colours. If you don’t have a logo, the site can use your business name in a clean, simple style.

I build it with local SEO foundations in place. The page title, headings and copy name the tiling work you do and the towns you cover, so search engines can match you to searches like “tiler Harrogate” or “wet room tiling Leeds”. That way Google knows what you do and where, and the page is quick to load on a phone. It gives you solid foundations, but no web designer can guarantee a particular position in Google. What else helps you show up locally.

Yes, and it usually helps. Guide prices, or a rough estimator by size and tile type, put off people with the wrong budget and reassure the right ones. They’re clearly marked as a guide, with a fixed price once you’ve measured up.

Yes. Kitchen fitters, bathroom fitters and builders check you out too. Your site shows them your standard, and gives you somewhere to send homeowners who want to book you direct.

No. We have a short call about your business and the work you want more of, you send me some photos, and I write and build the rest.

A one-page site is usually ready in about a week, a Trade site in about two weeks and a Pro site in two to three weeks. I’ll give you a date on our first call.

Yes. Send me photos of a new job, or the change you want, and I’ll update it for you. Content updates are £30 an hour, and most new-job updates are quick. New sections or design changes are quoted separately.

Yes, it’s yours once you’ve paid for it, with no lock-in. Hosting and support are included for the first 12 months. After that it’s £19 a month, rolling, so you can cancel anytime. If you do, I’ll send you the files and transfer your domain so you can host it wherever you like.
